Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Hot Honey Squeeze Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
  • McCormick® Paprika
  • McCormick® Onion Powder
  • McCormick® Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Garlic Dip'n Sauce
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 3 brioche hamburger buns
  • Pickle chips

directions

  1. MIX water, salt and sugar in medium bowl. Add chicken thighs. Cover and brine in refrigerator 2 hours.
  2. PLACE Hot Honey squeeze in shallow bowl or dish. Mix milk and egg in separate shallow bowl or dish. Finally, mix flour, baking powder, and spices in a third bowl. Dip chicken in Hot Honey Squeeze Sauce, then in egg mixture, then in flour mixture to coat.
  3. FILL large deep saucepan about 1/3 of the way with oil. Heat on medium-high heat to 350°F. Fry chicken thighs 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. SERVE fried chicken on buns topped with Roasted Garlic Dip’n Sauce and pickles.
