  • 2 tins of jackfruit
  • 2 tablespoons FRANK'S RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 200 grams plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon (of each) oregano, basil & thyme
  • Enough vegetable oil to fry
  • 3 tablespoons vegan mayo
  • 2 tablespoons FRANK'S RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Squeeze of lemon


  1. Mix the wet together and leave for a couple mins to curdle
  2. Mix the dry together in another bowl
  3. Drain the jackfruit, cut the hard bits off and take out any seeds. Rinse the jackfruit well to get rid of any of the brine
  4. Batter the jackfruit, cover in wet, then the dry, the back to the wet, then to the dry once more!
  5. Heat up enough vegetable oil to cover at least half of the popcorn bites
  6. Once hot enough, carefully put in the jackfruit! Wait till that sides crispy (around 4-5 mins) then turn each piece and cook the other side!
  7. Take out and place on kitchen paper to help get rid of any oil
  8. Leave for a few mins, then dip in Frank’s RedHot Mayo and enjoy!!!!!
