Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili Meatballs These sweet, tangy, saucy meatballs are great as an appetizer or a quick weeknight main. franks_redhot_sweet_chili_meatballs_300x300 Makes: 24 meatballs 1 pound lean ground turkey <u>or</u> lean ground beef 1 1/2 cup FRANK'S RedHot Sweet Chili® Sauce, divided 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro 3 green onions, chopped 1 large egg, lightly beaten 2 teaspoons finely minced fresh ginger 1/2 teaspoon salt <p>PREHEAT oven to 350&deg;F. Mix ground turkey, 1/4 cup of the Sweet Chili Sauce, panko, cilantro, green onions, egg, ginger and salt in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Arrange in single layer on large foil-lined baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray.</p> <p>BAKE 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through; turning half way through cooking.</p> <p><span>TRANSFER meatballs to large bowl. Add remaining Sweet Chili Sauce and toss to coat. Serve immediately.</span></p>

Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey or lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cup FRANK'S RedHot Sweet Chili® Sauce, divided
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons finely minced fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix ground turkey, 1/4 cup of the Sweet Chili Sauce, panko, cilantro, green onions, egg, ginger and salt in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Arrange in single layer on large foil-lined baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray.

BAKE 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through; turning half way through cooking.

TRANSFER meatballs to large bowl. Add remaining Sweet Chili Sauce and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

- Tips

Test Kitchen Tip: For an easy party appetizer, transfer baked meatballs to slow cooker on LOW or WARM setting. Add remaining Sweet Chili Sauce and toss to coat. Serve directly from slow cooker. This recipe can be easily doubled to make approximately 50 meatballs to serve at your next party.
