Like your game day brats hot? Braised in a spicy, flavourful bath of Frank’s® RedHot Original, beer and onions, these brats are then grilled and served on toasted rolls with an extra hit of heat – Frank's RedHot caramelized onions.
Place brats, onions, Bud Light and 1/3 cup of the RedHot Sauce in large skillet; stir to mix. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Remove sausages from skillet. Strain onion mixture and discard cooking liquid.
Return onions to pan. Add butter and remaining 1/4 cup RedHot Sauce. Cook on medium-low heat 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown and tender.
Meanwhile, grill brats over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes until cooked through, turning occasionally to brown on all sides. Serve brats on toasted rolls topped with RedHot caramelized onions.
