SPICY BBQ BAKED BEANS

1/4 lb. bacon, chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 (15 to 19 oz.) cans great Northern beans, red kidney beans or cannelloni beans, drained
1 cup CATTLEMEN'S® Award Winning Classic Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Cayenne Pepper Sauce (optional)
1/4 cup packed light brown sugarDIRECTIONS:
COOK bacon and onion in 5-quart saucepot until bacon is crisp. Stir in remaining ingredients.
HEAT to a boil. Simmer, partially covered, 20 min. until slightly thickened and flavors are blended. Stir occasionally.
Conventional Oven Directions: Sauté bacon and onion in heat-proof Dutch oven until bacon is crisp. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 45 min., stirring occasionally.
