HOT & SPICY BBQ CHICKEN STIR-FRY
Servings: 4 servings
Prep Time: 10
Cook Time: 10
1/2 cup CATTLEMEN'S® Golden Honey Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki baste & glaze sauce
2 tablespoons FRANK'S® REDHOT® Cayenne Pepper Sauce
1 tablespoon grated peeled ginger root
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon oil
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
3 cups cut-up vegetables such as broccoli, celery, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, or snow peas
DIRECTIONS:Combine barbecue sauce, teriyaki baste & glaze sauce, Frank's RedHot Sauce, ginger and garlic; set aside.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet or wok until very hot. Stir-fry chicken 5 minutes until browned. Add vegetables; stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
Stir in barbecue sauce mixture. Stir-fry 1 minute until mixture is well glazed. Serve with rice if desired. Garnish with sesame seeds and minced green onion, if desired.
Tips: Purchase cut-up vegetables from the salad bar of the supermarket to save time. This barbecue glaze makes a good dipping sauce for egg rolls and fried wontons.
Variation: Substitute 1 lb. shrimp, boneless steak or pork for the chicken.
